The Bunny Emerges!
So I've been really good about putting lotion on my new tattoo (the one I got on Saturday, which I haven't written about yet.) I have been rewarded for my vigilance by experiencing almost no itching. Not only that, but the scab is starting to fall away, and the colors are SOO BRIGHT! It's going to be superfuckingcute.

In case you weren't at the party, it's the bunnywarez logo. Jovino got one also, so now we are all matchy-poo (and cuter than ever before.) ;-)

Now that this is healing up so nicely, I am ready for another one! Too bad there's not time until after burning man. But it does give me time to really think out what I want. I have a bunch of ideas, just need to firm them up.

Yay tattoos! We went to Diving Swallow, in Oakland, and our artist was Cedre. She's really good, very cool and communicative and she has great energy. I look forward to getting more work from her as soon as I can afford the money and time.

I loved your tat (and all the cuteness that you got matching tatoos).

I fully intend on going to that place DIving Swallow after I go to Hawaii. I am envisioning a series of tats for my back and belly sides that can incorporate my transformation as of late.

Diving Swallow is rad - all the women there are really good artists, and I especially like Cedre.

Be sure to book ahead, they generally have a pretty full schedule, and a significant lead time!

Yay for matching tattoos! Platypus and I have two of them now (platypus on arm, celtic knot on upper back). It's nifty. Better than any sort of "mawwiage" vows, I think... :-p

Yeah, it's super sweet and very personal. :-)

Photos will be required, you know. ^_^

I think I'll wind up getting a tail. (Not the real thing, more's the pity - I'd leap at the chance if it were possible) Something along the lines of this icon..

Ooh, that sounds supercute! Would it be on your low back, where a tail would go?

Yepyep. Nice and poofly. ^_^ Not sure whether I should just go for the outline, or have it filled in - I'm thinking just the outline, to keep it simple, as I'd really want it to be white, and I can't imagine that's really possible. Still, that's not going to be until next year sometime - plenty of time to ponder about it yet.

post photos immediately!

and please try to keep your tattoo covered as much as possible on the playa. even though they say three weeks, it really needs a couple of months to set. I faded a back piece pretty good by having it in the sun too much about five weeks after it was done.

I'm all about women tattoo artist meself. I don't know if I'll let a man ink me again. Totally different process.
