It's Fryday, I'm in Love!
I'll get back to the Q and A thing soon (you can still ask me questions if you wanna!)

But first, I just want to say that I LOVE MY LIFE!

I have the sweetest boyfriend in the history of boyfriends! He is SO good to me! (Not to mention talented, creative, SMARTY-SMART, and oh yes, HOTTTTTTT!!!) I love our life together, I love our creative collaboration! I could go on and on (and on!) but this is gonna embarrass the hell outta him as it is so I prolly oughta knock it off already.

Last night we went into SF to have dinner with my exhusband Peter and his (pregnant, adorable, and let's not forget BADASS) wife, Mare. Fun! She cooked an amazing meal and we all had a good time talking and laughing together, which made me really happy.

Plus, I got to see POUNCE. Oh, how I love my darling Pounce. I'd been worried about him, since hearing that he was undergoing treatment for thyroid problems, but he was looking really well - very plush. I really think he looked better than he has in some time. And he was a lot less grumpy, so I imagine he must be feeling better too. I'm so glad that they take such good care of him. I wish he could live with me, but it's just not practical - and I have to admit, he really is better off where he is. I am so pleased that my beloved Pouncer has such a good life, and grateful to Mare and Peter for caring for him so well - especially so since I cannot have him with me.

Today Jovino started working on a rad corset project he's had in mind for some time, which would be perfect for the SF Fetish Ball (which is coming up next month.) We're not 100% sure about going (for one thing, it is on a weekend which is already rather booked up) but we'll see...

This has inspired me to design complimentary pieces, and I've been thinking about what to do. I originally thought that it would go well with an idea I had previously, but inspiration hit while I was merging onto the 580 (not a good time to sketch, but luckily I was able to hold it in my head long enough to elaborate on it once I got back to the studio) and now I have a whole new concept. It's all gothy - should be a lot of fun to do. I still want to do a lot more of the faux fur/fleecy hulahoochie stuff as well. Much to do!

We also recently did a little recon in the Castro and Haight, looking for places to hit up to carry our stuff. We got some good ideas and some leads for places we hadn't considered, and we met some cool folks, and enjoyed some great reactions to our hats (we were rockin' logo bunny and ninja kitty.) We definitely have a lot of work ahead of us, but I am feeling really positive about what we have done so far (we have really only been at this since December!) and where we are going.

I guess I should think about going to bed, but I had a nap earlier and I am just Not Tired. Ah sleep, the final frontier...

You know, I'm thinking I should commission you & Jovino to make my Twigs wedding attire -- I love your stuff. Something corsety and furry but otherwise give you carte blanche.

How much would you charge for something like that??

That would be totally radness. We should talk more before we start to throw compensation figures around. But I am seriously into this! And... I have some really nice Vercace fabric that I am itchin' to use. :D

Re: What I wouldnt give...

a million dollars?

I've been gettign into corsets recently, and I would not be a bit surprised if I could make something custom for you. I need more practice before I start taking specials, but I can tell you... soon!

Re: What I wouldnt give...

Yeha. I would need a custom. My body type doesnt fit the prefabricated patterns of most clothing. Im smaller in the chest and larger in the buttocks, hips and stomach region. A custom corset would probably have to be done. Besides, all the corsets I have seen have a leopard TRIM at best.

There is a shop on San Pablo near Dwight Way (a few doors down from Good Vibes) called Dolly Bird (I think) that has tons of cute kitschy (sp?) stuff. A lot of it is pretty creative and unique. Your hats would be a nice addition.
