dready hed
I finally gave in and took out my fab, ass-length pink dreads today. Well, actually Jovino did it - it would have been really difficult, if not impossible to do myself. (That boy is handy with a seam ripper.) Wendy did a GREAT job of securing them! I miss them already, and at the same time, I feel so much lighter and more free without all the extra bulk.

A rad thing about extension dreads is that when you remove them, they are intact and *reusable* (unlike braid extensions) so I can either have 'em put in again at some later point in time, or make a dreadfall or ponytail dreads. Sweet!

Having the extensions in for over a month, as I did, caused my own hair to dread a bit, so the sectioning is still there, and I now have a head full of mini dreads. (Pic forthcoming.) It's actually pretty cute, and I am thinking of keeping my hair like this, at least for a while. We'll see how it looks once I wash it. If I decide I really like it, it will get the loose hair at the ends dreaded as well, and have cute little pink micro dreads.

How's your hair?

AHHHHHHH, the idea of seeing you like this makes me all giddy. I bet it looks sooooo cute and I am totally looking forward to seeing a picture.

My hair is pretty bright red and growing out a bit from the short, boyish cut I have. I am happy to finally get a few curls going instead of all the straightness.
