I have to say that, as a small business, this kind of thing is a great encouragement beyond the opportunities it provides us to get our work seen by local folks.

We are very much aligned with their values of supporting local small businesses and keeping business in the community. I always say that a rising tide lifts all boats, and it is very exciting to be part of the small business renaissance that seems to be starting here in Oakland. (And frankly I have to mention that the food at these things is usually amazing - reason enough to come to the next one!)
