*I DID IT*!!!!!!

What A Day!!!!

(LJ Advisory: Prepare for more exclamation points ahead...)

I got up, had lunch with the BF, took him home on the freeway (*1st Time Ever*) and then got back in the car and headed for the city.

Whereupon, *I CROSSED THE BAY BRIDGE* for the First Time Ever! All on my own, too!!

I must admit letting out a "Woo-Hoo" or two when I hit the SF side. YEAH!!! WOOT WOOT!!!! (Oh my, I can't believe I actually said "woot woot". But then, I think this deserves SOME kind of celebratory noise! Woo-Hoo, Party in my LJ!!!) ;-) ;-D

In SF I first called BF to let him know I'd made it. Then I met with a friend about an important topic that had been weighing on my mind, did some fabric shopping/research (I want to make Bunny suits for the BF and me - must find the perfect fur for them.) I hit the "cheap" fabric store by Thrift Town in the Misson, then went over to the Haight and dropped off a phone bill of Peter's that got mixed up with mail for me from my old place. Finding parking in the Haight was actually the most stressful driving of the whole day. Mare was there and I got to see Pounce briefly. God I miss that cat.

It was nice to see Mare, she looked well, seemed happy and was (as always) very friendly to me. I'm glad she and Peter seem to be so happy. As I've said before, *Everyone Involved* is better off now... so many times I remember wishing that things could improve/work out "for the greater good of all involved" and now everywhere I look there is the evidence. Good to see.

Then I dashed back over to the Mission (I'd already been there once, before going to the Haight) to take Polly's latex clothing construction class. I made a beautiful latex miniskirt! It is a bit on the sheer side... well, maybe more than "a bit". But BRIGHT! And so cute! I can't wait to wear it out! I had an inspiration and asked Polly for some extra latex sheeting to make matching pasties... she gave me some and even cut one out for me as a sample and explained how to do it. I'm going to add a sheer pink nylon stretchy top with a sort of wrinkly texture over them, and I think the whole thing will look really cute. I want to make the pasties by Fryday as that is the date of her next Kinky Salon party and I'd love to wear my new creations there. I think she'd be pleased and I know I'd be so proud! So I need to get all the tools assembled and get busy.

And then, at 8:30 pm, I got back in the car and crossed back over the bridge. YAY!!! I'm now back in Oakland!

I feel so accomplished. Now I can go ANYWHERE I want!

AND I can make latex clothing! It'll take some practice before I'm creating clever designs or making items that have "hanger appeal" (to be good enough to sell the seams need to look really flat and the garment has to look good on a hanger - latex is actually very forgiving, you can be off by quite a bit before it either splits or looks bad when worn, but on the hanger is a different story - much more demanding. If it doesn't look good enough on the hanger nobody will ever even try it on.) But at this point I can make fetishwear for me and the Boy. And I am so enthused and inspired! We're going to look so *hot*!

All in all, a Glorious Day!

xoxoxoxoxox to my faithful readers. Mwah!!!
