Weeeeee. Vegas. And for Magic, no less. You're swimming with the big fish now! (Here's to getting your line picked up by Target!)

Thanks! We're not really ready for Target yet (I always like to pronounce it "Tar-zhay Boutique" heh) but it is very exciting for us to be going there... and things are moving forward nicely for us. I am extremely pleased with where we are right now (and even more so with where we're headed.)

While Im uncertain about a competitive vibe (despite that yes, there will probably be some real hackjobs there...you speak the truth) but I can dig your enthusiasm. Do your best!

I never set out to be competitive. I just want to create fun, original stuff that makes people smile and is well made and a good value for the money.

If you think it is ok for people to straight-up rip off *my* original ideas, sell an item which they copied directly from my work (though poorly made) in the same marketplace, and you call *me* competitive for objecting to it, then I guess I am competitive. Do I wish them ill? Hells yes I do! They are thieves - I guess their species of cat is the COPYCAT.

Yes I am a bit tetchy about it. But, come ON! That they make and sell works derived from commercial characters that they do not own nor have permission to use (not "fan art" - these are produced in multiples and sold for profit) is bad enough - but ripping off another small business?! Fuck them. We WILL bury them! I look forward to it.

Not sure if you took that as negative from me.

Oh no, I agree with the sentiment. I have been none too thrilled with the copycats that shut good friends of mine out of business. Sleasy by undercutting them really. Worse is that they are the kind of people that have plenty of acolytes that will totally defend and decredit anyone who knows the truth because they themselves believe this "hack" is infallible. Honest to god that is the situation.

I suppose that was what I didnt undersatnd about the statement's source. Im weird about competition because of how many destroyed people I had to walk past in my life. They got greedy and too competitive. I love your personalities so I guess thats what I immediately thought of-- that the experience of competition (which is unavoidable even if you guys are HONESTLY and ETHICALLY making a name for yourself) might really get to you. There is a thin line between competitiveness that drives you to improve (and your stuff continues to awe me, M) and the kind that just consumes you into this aggro, scheming miser. I dont believe you guys are the latter but my ears flattened nonetheless

You are probably talking to the gal who is most lacking in competitive drive (even the positive kind that keeps you on track).
